Riding in a group setting provides motivation through the community spirit. Small Group Training (SGT) is what we pride ourself on. We're a bit bigger than the average 'family' but that's how you feel when you're in the studio.

With a trainer in each class to give guidance and instructions, people become more comfortable and confident with their abilities, and what their bodies can do. The coach will keep you on track. Your group will keep you on track. And FUN...We have a lot of fun together!

LOW IMPACT

Cycling is great for injury prevention. Rehab patients, cyclists and runners benefit because it is a low impact alternative to other activities. For those who are overweight, the seat displaces ones weight so the load on their body is less and they can make a smooth transition to other activities as the weight comes off.

Caution - Don't confuse low impact with low intensity. Cycling can be very high intensity too!

MacQueen's Cycling Studio has been providing Indoor training since 2001 - inside MacQueen's Bike Shop - with a very large schedule to choose from, our Cycling Classes are LOW IMPACT GROUP TRAINING - which means we build our body up; not break it down, which really means we can continue to stay active for life.

I look forward to coming back to spin classes every year for various reasons.
I found an exercise class that I enjoy.
Spin gets me in shape for my summer cycling. Spin is a wonderful exercise for keeping in shape.
I go three times a week - Good for cardio and leg strength.
Over the years met many wonderful people.
The music - Good old 50ies and 60ies.
Last but not least, my spin instructor is the best - always bubbly and inviting.

Having moved to the island three years ago I looked for a place to do spin classes and at MacQueens (now Ride and Row) I've found so much more! I love supporting local, small businesses with big hearts!! Not only have they provided a great service but they have also provided a variety of opportunities beyond just spinning. Fantastic instructors, great service, spin/yoga, endurance classes, HIIT classes and now ride & row! Having been a customer for the past three years I'm excited to again try something new!!! I've been going to spin classes at MacQueens for a couple of years now, and I really enjoy them. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable in the areas of health and fitness, and their focus is on the group as well as each individual. Plus, they make each class fun while encouraging each person to their maximum. I go to the classes because I know I'm going to be challenged to pedal hard, but I also know I'll have fun. I never leave a class without a smile on my face.
