Pam Reeves

Where are you from? Born and raised right here on good ole PEI. Grew up on the Nodd Rd, Freetown, little bit of country in this girl!

Why spin? It’s a great indoor cycling workout for all fitness levels that allows participants to improve their aerobic fitness and cardiovascular health. Each rider gets to control their own workout by choosing speed, resistance and intensity they are comfortable with.

What is your strength as a coach? Motivational, as I like to push participants beyond what they thought they were capable of by using motivational cues to help them ride better!Inspiring, my goal is to create an inspirational journey by using imagery for the riders so they can visualize the road in front of them to inspire them to give it all they can to reach their fitness goals.

Describe your class? “Spin on Crack” Ha! – 45 min moderate to high intensity cardio peak training, where we ride to the rhythm of powerful music. This increases aerobic activity and accelerates our fitness gains. #goodmusic#goodresistence#goodpace

Three adjectives that describe you? Welcoming – Engaging – Authentic

Music style: Variety of different music that is high energy and uplifting that allows us to ride the rhythm to feel the music and the workout.

How do you want your participants to feel? I want them to always feel safe, inclusive, part of a team and have a sense of camaraderie and connection during class. Upon leaving class, my hope is that they had an awesome fitness experience, where they worked hard, had fun and want to come back and do it all over again!

What do you do outside of work? I am the outdoor type in summer, where I enjoy golf, walking and biking. In winter not so much, which is why I am happy for indoor cycling classes!
